- Direct inoculation and culture of blood agar plates, thioglycolate broth, tryptocase soy broth, and sabaoraud dextrose agar to check for bacterial and fungal contamination.
- PCR-based assay sensitive to the detection of species typically found as contaminants of cell culture.
- Human pluripotent stem cells were analyzed to confirm post-thaw viability and healthy colony morphology.
